The Waxed Oak rocking horse is finished with beeswax and develops a beautiful aged patina over many years of use. Light or dark points are added to the ears, face and hooves for definition and character.

Hand carved from English oak, this rocking horse is finished in either a light or dark oak colour and is often chosen to match an existing colour scheme or current pieces of furniture. The grain of the wood shows through the finish very clearly making it a particularly popular choice.

The horse pictured here is a Dark Waxed Oak rocking horse tacked in dark Havana leather with red rub off saddle, red saddle cloth and fitted with optional brass metalwork. Another optional extra shown here is the pack of hounds chasing Charlie the Fox. These are all attached with velcro pads so they can be played with and then safely stored back under the horse.

All options and extra will be discussed with you to personalise your Waxed Oak rocking horse to your exact specification.

PRODUCT INFO

As each piece is handmade to order, there will be a wait of approximately 6 weeks for your rocking horse. We will let you know an accurate timescale when we receive your order.

There may be an additional charge for certain accessories. This will be advised when we contact you to finalise all options for your order.

Delivery & SHIPPING

Delivery: Local delivery is included within a 20 mile radius for all our rocking horses. Alternatively, you can collect your rocking horse from our showroom in Kent and even take a tour of the workshop at the same time.

UK mainland delivery is charged at £350. We will contact you to arrange a convenient date and time to deliver your horse.

Shipping: An additional charge will be applicable to overseas orders; we will provide up-to-date shipping costs when we call you to discuss your order. If you are not happy with these shipping costs, we will offer you the option to arrange your own courier, collect from the workshop or to cancel and provide a refund for your order.
