We are thrilled to have been commissioned by Alex Embiricos, whose family owned the legendary racehorse ALDANITI, to make two replicas of the famous Grand National winner.
While the Large horse will be kept by the Embiricos family as a lasting tribute to their much loved horse, the Extra Large of the pair will be auctioned in aid of the Bob Champion Cancer Trust.
The Extra Large rocking horse will be auctioned on Monday 23rd October 2023 at Plumpton Race Course.
The Bob Champion Cancer Trust was established in 1983 and today the Bob Champion Cancer Research Laboratory is part of the largest male dedicated cancer research facilities in Europe.

Some of our readers may remember ALDANITI's unlikely Grand National win in 1981. Following a serious leg injury at Sandown in 1979 and ridden by a jockey who had just beaten testicular cancer, many wouldn't have assumed that the duo had a chance of winning such a title.
The pair defied the odds with jockey Bob Champion taking the reins. There is even a film which documents this extraordinary journey; Champions (1984) starring John Hurt is definitely worth watching.
